4X gameplay

The game then puts the player on the map of the galaxy, where star systems of up to six planets are connected with fast-travel lines. To win the game the player must fulfill several victory conditions, including Expansion, Scientific, Economic and Diplomatic.

The galaxy awaits and so do your people! It is the year 3000 AD. As the leader of one of the intergalactic factions, you must lead your budding empire to interstellar domination. Expand your borders by conquering other star systems. Wage wars with other empires or forge diplomatic alliances to provide peace and prosperity to both sides. Manage the resources of your faction and develop science to make your empire thrive. Meet the goals of victory and become the one and only leader of the entire galaxy.

Collection content

Endless Space Collection offers the player the full game experience as well as the Disharmony downloadable content. Disharmony adds a new playable faction – the Harmony, an empire of crystalline beings, seeking to destroy the Dust – a resource serving as the in-game currency, which the Harmony see as impure. With the new faction, the player gets to try out new units, improved mechanics and more.
