Storyline

In the game, players will take o the role of a young hunter from a small village called Mahana. According to legends, inside it, there is a monster who will be able to destroy the whole world. After some unexplained and bizarre events, the hunter begins a dangerous journey, full of adventures, monsters, and mysteries.

Gameplay and Mechanics

During the gameplay, the action is presented from the third-person perspective. Combat in MH: S2 is the biggest difference when comparing it to the main games of the Monster Hunter series. Instead of dynamic, very skill-based encounters, players will fight more tactically as the combat is now turn-based.It is worth remembering that battles are still challenging and players have to learn their opponents' attack patterns, weaknesses, etc. Additionally, because of the unique ability to communicate with monsters, we can use their help during fights. In time, our 'pets' will learn new, stronger attacks and abilities, becoming even more valuable companions.
