Gameplay

My Summer Car is an early access game where your primary objective is to build and maintain your car. The game does not hold the player’s hand, so you’ll have to figure everything out yourself. Having an actual knowledge and basic understanding of how the car works can go a long way, but you can also take a trial-and-error approach to figure things out yourself – it may even teach you some real-life mechanics, just don’t expect to become a master at maintaining a car after playing a video game.

Fixing and tuning your vehicle, however, are not the only things you should focus on – the other one is your own character which also has its own needs that need to be satisfied. Failing to do so will have unpleasant consequences, to say the least.

Challenging Difficulty

My Summer Car game is known for its realism and challenging difficulty. It won’t tell you how to fix your problems – you will have to figure it out yourself. At the very beginning, you will have to assemble your own car from spare parts. The game won’t tell you if you did good or not – the only way to check it is to take the assembled vehicle for a ride and pray for everything to work as intended. If you know a thing or two about real cars, this knowledge may actually prove to be useful to some extent, but you’ll still need to learn and master gameplay mechanics to be successful in the game.

Open World Environment

In this automobile sim you will be able to explore the open world at your own pace. Driving around the town plays an important role in the game as that’s the most convenient way to access a variety of places, including a store and a gas station.

Alternative Vehicles

Although the car is the titular vehicle you will be able to drive and maintain, there are also other vehicles to try, most notably a tractor, a van, a truck, a moped, and even a small motorboat, each with its own driving physics.
