G2A.COM  G2A News Features 15 Games like Diablo (D2 & D3) for PC
Diablo is undoubtedly a legendary series that sets the standards in the hack’n’slash genre. To this day, I can remember the great excitement of Diablo III’s arrival twelve long years after its notorious predecessor, Diablo II.
It is thanks to these games that many of us have been chained to the computer for long hours and learned the magic of unlimited entertainment and fun. Various new, distinctive words such as “grinding“, “loot”, “farming” and many others have also entered the players’ dictionary.
We would like to present to you a list of fifteen games that we think are similar to Diablo 2 and 3 and worth testing for yourself. We will be dealing with a whole collection of different offers: from PC games, through PS4, and also available on Steam. From old games to upcoming games, from free to paid games. We made the selection carefully – none of the games on our list should be a mindless Diablo clone, but only a production similar to the legendary hack’n’slash.
Continuation of warmly received Torchlight, Torchlight 2 meet all good sequel requirements – more, better, faster. Thanks to the new co-op system now you can explore the colorful realm of Vilderan with best friends and decide the fate of this world.
The isometric graphics remind us of the great classics of the genre that Torchlight 2 alludes to. The multitude of options when it comes to choosing a character class or playing style is great fun for hours. Online mode is just an alternative, not coercion; if we want to, we can play normally offline. Torchlight 2 is available as Steam version below.
Often referred to as a spiritual heir of Diablo, Path of Exile has enjoyed unflagging popularity for many years. Mountains of loot, complex and ravishing character build – that are the main characteristic features of Path of Exile. This game definitely has a dedicated fan base that is growing day by day.
Another two good news? First, Path of Exile is a completely free to play (f2p) game; you just need to go to the Internet Website and you can play. Second, the upcoming Path of Exile 2 seems to be far better than the predecessor – this is of course possible. Who knows, what will be better? Diablo IV or Path of Exile 2?
Path of Exile is free to play game.

The third Torchlight is very similar to Diablo 3. The main attraction of Torchlight III is its high dexterity combat system, and most of the missions are designed for cooperation for teams of several people.
I believe that Torchlight’s success is built largely on the candy, exaggerated graphics that give a nice aesthetic experience while exploring and learning about the world. It looks like a great adventure, which we cannot refuse.
Known for its dual-class system, Grim Dawn offers us a dark, bloody and gloomy world to explore. Humanity is on the brink of extinction and the landscapes look hostile and argumentative.
This apocalyptic action RPG has many advantages, like tons of items to find, hundreds of skills, and a co-op system for 4 players.
Borderlands 3 proves that we do not have to limit ourselves to climates dominated by sword and magic – instead, you can sometimes also grab a gun to destroy enemies!
More importantly, there are plenty of these guns, and each fight will be a chance to get even better equipment. The graphics of the game enhance the aesthetic experience; they were focused on not very realistic, but graceful models that look very nice.
The game rushes forward, not giving you a moment to rest. We can measure ourselves in single mode, but there are also two multiplayer modes to which we can invite friends. What’s more, we can finally break out of Pandora, known from the previous parts of the series – we have a futuristic spaceship, known as Sanctuary 3.
Enter suffering, ruined world that will not know peace for a long time. A world ravaged by war, a world in which all hope can be sought in vain. Warhammer Chaosbane is really a game like Diablo 3!
Known for its mature atmosphere, Warhammer offers us a captivating hack’n’slash with interesting isometric graphics and many possibilities. Several character classes, fierce combat, and much more – this makes it a really worthy game, game like old, good Diablo in every way.
One of the more unusual games on the list – a kind of combination of a card game and a hack’n’slash. Thanks to a special system of randomly generated dungeons, each expedition will look different, which significantly extends the time of the game, and each new exploration may surprise us with something different.
Artistic, extraordinary graphics catch the eye, and a well-developed base of various monsters means that we are constantly faced with new challenges. It is worth giving Book of Demons a chance to find out for yourself about a different approach to the subject of games like Diablo.
Book of Demons
The idea inspired by Bram Stocker’s novel “Dracula”. As you can easily guess, we play the role of the title monster hunter, Van Helsing, who travels the gothic-noir world of Bogrovia in the company of the charming Lady Catrina.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is distinguished by the fact that we do not create our own character, but use the imposed character. However, the game can be liked, especially if we look at an interesting story, with good humor and a well-made co-op system, thanks to which we can participate in the game with friends.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing
A classic hack’n’slash, the plot of which is based on threads taken from the mythology of Greece, Egypt, Babylon, and China. Thanks to these inspirations, we will be able to visit such famous places as the Pyramids of Giza or the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
Multiplayer mode allows up to six players to play together. Interestingly, for the tenth anniversary of the game’s release, the developers released a special “anniversary edition”, which fixes many previously found bugs, improves the balance, and introduces a number of fixes. Thanks to this, the game gained a second youth.

Sacred 2 is a well-preserved classic production – the game’s premiere took place in 2008. The classic story about the struggle between good and evil, in which we have to take one side, is still worth playing.
The originality in the selection of characters attracts attention – we do not have boring humans, elves, or dwarves here, and instead, we can play the role of such intriguing characters as Seraphim or Inquisitor. The combat system is also very eye-catching, in which we can mix different styles and combine them with each other.
Sacred 2: GOLD
Mythologies are a very appreciative topic for the game. The creators of Hades, which openly alludes to Greek mythology and the title ruler of the underworld, had to come out with this idea.
The first thing that can be noticed is completely different from all the comic graphics of Hades, which we can admire from a classic isometric projection. It’s a rogue-like dungeon crawler, very spectacular, difficult, and forcing us to constantly improve our skills. The well-known independent studio Supergiant Games – the authors of Transistor and Pyre, is responsible for this title. We do not have a co-op system here. Hades is available on Steam platform.
As soon as we turn on Terraria, we can immediately see that graphically it is a reference to real classics. It doesn’t change the fact that Terraria was a gigantic success, selling 200,000,000 copies during the first week of its presence on Steam, defeating such celebrities as … The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Impressive, huh?
What is behind such a huge achievement? In my opinion, a revolutionary idea for a mix of RPG, mining-adventure, and strategy games. In Terraria, we both dig and build, as well as set off on dangerous expeditions, and take care of our headquarters. The sandbox style of gameplay with randomly generated maps managed to attract a large number of fans.
Wolcen is another game like Diablo. A very dynamic and effective hack’n’slash that can stick to the monitor for hours. A large variety of items means that everyone will find their favorite weapon, and the multitude of available skills allows you to develop a dozen tactics, adapted to the current opponent.
An interesting element is the ability to show your own style – the creators have provided an extensive system of dyes, thanks to which we can omit the colors of the equipment, as well as an asymmetric organization of gloves or shoulder straps. Besides – everything a good game needs; juicy fight, unexpected twists, and constant challenges.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem
A hard fantasy game developed by the famous Obsidian Studio – the creators of Neverwinter Nights and Fallout.
Dungeon Siege III draws handfuls from the best hack’n’slash and RPG productions. A great element is a realistic, classic companion system, known from legends such as Baldurs Gate or Planescape: Torment – allies traveling with us react to our actions and may even leave the team in case of critical misunderstandings.
The decent graphic design still pleases the eye, despite the age, and the diverse combat system will allow each player to find their way.

Victor Vran focuses on a rich, varied combat system, combined with spectacular effects. Well-made opponents make no skirmish the same; the monsters we hunt have different behaviors, so each fight must be approached with constant vigilance and preparation.
But no one likes to hunt alone, right? Fortunately, Victor Vran allows up to four players to cooperate, which will make our trips much more enjoyable. There is no strict division into classes, so the character can use any weapon. An interesting fact is also the ability to change the difficulty level during the game with cursed hex items.
