This October… fear comes in pairs.
On October 10, 2025, Little Nightmares III lands on every major platform, ready to pull us into its twisted world. From Supermassive Games comes the series’ first online co-op nightmare.
For the first time ever, you can team up online – step into the fragile shoes of Low and Alone, armed only with a bow, a wrench… and your wits – and face the horrors together.
Two heroes. One nightmare. Endless terror.
I need to be honest with you: I’m practically jumping up and down with excitement!
Little Nightmares III Trailers
In the trailers, we can see Low and Alone navigating eerie, twisted landscapes, working together to survive traps and escape terrifying creatures. The visuals are dark yet beautiful, and the music builds tension until I can almost feel the danger creeping closer. For me, it’s a haunting glimpse of the nightmare to come – and it leaves me eager to discover what’s waiting around the next corner.
After watching the trailers I realised that I can’t wait to be pulled straight into this world where every shadow hides a threat and every sound makes my heart race.
The Demo of Little Nightmares III
The demo of LN III was released on September 17, 2025. It gives us a chilling first look at the game. From the first step, you can feel a mix of fear and curiosity, as the ruined desert city seems alive with all its shadows and secrets. When you notice the gigantic Monster Baby is so terrifying! The demo is short, yet it leaves you shaken, thrilled, and desperate to uncover the full nightmare that waits in the complete game.
After discovering Little Nightmares III, I immediately went back to the first two games – because I just had to feel that chilling tension and fear one more time. I think it’s a great way to prepare for the next chapter.
And now I’m going to briefly show you what the previous parts of Little Nightmares look like, so that you can feel at least a little of the fear I felt while playing the first and second parts.
What does Little Nightmares I look like?
When I played Little Nightmares for the first time, it felt like stepping into a real nightmare – no kidding. I played as Six, a small girl in a yellow raincoat, trapped inside The Maw – a strange underwater place full of huge, frightening creatures.
The whole game was like a dark fairy tale, with shadowy corridors, creepy sounds, and enemies that looked like twisted versions of adults. The art style was both scary and beautiful, and it made me feel tense from start to finish.
See what dark secrets lie within every chapter:
- The Prison – This is where the story begins. I wake up in the dark and must escape dangerous leeches while learning how to survive in The Maw.
- The Lair – Here I meet the Janitor, a blind monster with very long arms. It was so terrifying! I have to stay quiet and move carefully so he cannot catch me.
- The Kitchen – Two horrible Twin Chefs prepare food for the Guests. I must hide, crawl, and run while they chase me through their dirty kitchen – that was a total hardcore!
- The Guest Area – I meet there huge, greedy Guests eat without stopping. Yucky! They try to grab me as I move between their tables, and every step feels really dangerous.
- The Lady’s Quarters – At the end, I face The Lady, the mysterious ruler of The Maw. Surrounded by mirrors and shadows, this final fight is both scary and unforgettable – believe me!
What does Little Nightmares II look like?
I still remember the first time I stepped into the world of Little Nightmares II. As Mono, a small boy with a paper bag over my head, I felt both fragile and brave at the same time. Every corner hid something terrifying – creatures that looked almost human but moved in ways that made my skin crawl.
The city around me was broken and strange, filled with shadows that seemed alive. Luckily, I wasn’t alone. Six, the mysterious girl in the yellow raincoat, was by my side, and together we tried to escape the nightmares that chased us. Each chapter pulled me deeper into a dark story where silence was louder than screams, and every step forward felt like a dangerous secret waiting to be uncovered. When I finished the game, I thought: “Wow! That was something!”
Look at these scary chapters, and you’ll admit that I was right having goosebumps:
- The Wilderness – My journey begins in a dark forest filled with traps and silence. I meet Six, and together we must escape the Hunter, a terrifying figure with a shotgun who stalks us through the woods – it was so creepy!
- The School – Inside the crumbling school, I face the Teacher, a monstrous woman with a neck that stretches endlessly – Ew, that was dreadful! Her porcelain-headed students are just as dangerous, and every hallway feels like a trap.
- The Hospital – In the shadows of the hospital, broken mannequins come to life and chase me through the halls – I only had in my mind: “Ruuun!”. The Doctor, crawling across the ceiling, hunts me as I try to escape his twisted experiments.
- The Pale City – The streets are filled with distorted, television-obsessed people who lunge at me if I get too close. I must use the strange power of the TVs to survive, but the Thin Man is always near, pulling me deeper into the nightmare.
- The Signal Tower – At the end, I enter the heart of the nightmare: the Signal Tower. Its shifting, impossible rooms twist reality itself. Here, I face the truth about Six and the darkness that has been calling me all along.
What will Little Nightmares III look like?
That nightmare from the earlier games is still stuck in my head – I’ve got goosebumps just thinking about it! Little Nightmares III feels darker, larger, and more focused on teamwork than ever before. It combines the familiar loneliness of the series with a new fear – the terrifying thought of being separated from your partner.
And now I’m even more hyped for LN III. Honestly, I I feel like a little kid in a shop, begging for a lollipop, and my mom says no – right when I want it more than anything.
Let’s see what awaits us:
- This time it’s personal: we get to step into the shoes of two new heroes – Low, armed with his bow and arrow, or Alone, carrying her wrench. Each tool changes the way we fight, solve puzzles, and survive. I can’t wait to see how their skills work together.
- Finally, co‑op is here! For the first time, we can face the nightmares side by side online, or go solo with an AI partner. I’m already imagining the chaos and teamwork moments waiting for us.
- The Spiral is calling, and I can’t wait to explore the creepy new worlds:
- The Necropolis – a desert city haunted by the terrifying Monster Baby.
- The Candy Factory – crawling with unsettling “Candy Weevils.”
- The Carnevale – a twisted funfair where danger hides behind every corner.
- The levels are larger, taller, and more dangerous than ever. For us, that means every step will feel like a fight for survival.
- I love that so many puzzles and fights now demand cooperation. Low can stun enemies, Alone can smash through obstacles – timing will be everything!
- New Residents are waiting to haunt us, like the Monster Baby and other disturbing figures. Aaaa! I already feel the goosebumps.
- We’ll uncover more secrets about the Nowhere, its shadows, and the mysteries that will be pulling us in since the very beginning – that’s for sure!
- And for fans like us who love the story, the tie‑in podcast “The Sounds of Nightmares” gives even more chilling background to explore.
Conclusion
I hope that you’re also wating for Little Nightmares III as much as I am. I already imagine myself sitting in the dark, headphones on my ears (a must!), every sound crawling under my skin, fear running through my body. That mix of excitement and terror is exactly why I love this series!
