A Few Words About the Game

In this game, you take on the role of the Destined One, a monkey king inspired by the character Sun Wukong from the 16th-century classical Chinese novel Journey to the West.

Equipped with the Ruyi Jingu Bang – a magical staff – he sets out on a journey following a mysterious legend.

However, legends are not just part of the storyline in Black Myth Wukong. Chinese mythology and ancient tales have inspired the game’s world and the creatures living in it.

Release and Preorder

In 2020, the game’s developer, Game Science studio, announced that their new product would be released within 3–4 years. And that’s precisely what’s happening – the release is scheduled for August 20, 2024.
