PlayStation is one of the biggest gaming platforms, with an expansive store where almost everyone could find something to suit their gaming preferences.
One of the easier methods of acquiring any of the store’s contents are PSN gift cards. This article breaks down how to get and use a PlayStation Network card, and provides suggestions of what can be bought for each amount of currency.
How to spend your PlayStation gift card well
PSN Cash Cards hold a predetermined amount of currency. In the case of US dollars they come in the following variants: $10, $20, $50, $60, $75, $100. When you redeem the card, your PSN Wallet will be topped up with the amount from the card you used.
The redemption process is different depending on the device you’re using: PS4, PS3, PS Vita, or PC. On PS4, PS3, and PS Vita you need to visit the Store after logging in and look for “Redeem codes” or an equivalent phrase. For PC and PlayStation App you need to log in and look a similar phrase on your account page or the app menu.
Cash cards are a gift
The list above is just a small portion of games you could buy with each cash card value, and we didn’t even mention numerous themes letting you make your PlayStation screen more stylish. There is little chance of you (or the recipient of your gift) not getting the value for your money, regardless of which card you buy.
