Why is Xbox coming later?
Keen Games said the Xbox version needs additional time to reach the studio’s expected quality and performance level. CEO Jan Jöckel explained that Enshrouded is technically demanding because of its large-scale voxel building, terraformable world, multiplayer systems, and open-world structure.
That means PC and PlayStation players will get the 1.0 release first, while Xbox Series X|S players will have to wait until spring 2027.
Worth Knowing: The Xbox version is delayed, not cancelled. Keen Games says development is progressing steadily.
