Core Keeper takes you on a journey to a fantasy world. The pursuit of a mysterious relic ends for the main character with waking up in a giant underground labyrinth. Trapped in caves, he will have to fight a real fight for survival.

You watch the action from a bird’s eye view. Before starting the game, you have to choose one of the game modes, which determine whether you will be reborn after death, losing the equipment collected in your backpack (which you will be able to return for), or will be doomed to start the adventure over (permadeath).

The production gives you access to procedurally generated undergrounds, consisting of various biomes. Thanks to the extensive crafting system, you can create tools that improve exploration and resource acquisition, such as pickaxes that allow you to crush walls and torches that provide light.

You can also build various improvements for your base of operations, as well as more advanced structures, such as bridges that allow you to cross underground rivers. In addition, you need to stock up on increasingly better weapons and armor, as numerous adversaries lurk underground. The fights are dynamic, requiring you to demonstrate dexterity and reflexes.

During breaks from dangerous escapades, you can devote yourself to cultivating the land by planting seeds obtained along the way, harvesting crops, and fishing. Meals prepared from these ingredients provide various buffs, making subsequent expeditions easier.

Force of Nature 2: Ghost Keeper is a production on the verge of action RPGs and survival games, enriched with strategic elements. In this fantasy world, balance was ensured by the titular stone – a force of nature – created by ancient deities.

When the stone was destroyed, the peace and harmony that governed this land were lost. During the game, you play as a hero who must restore the former order and find a way back home. It won’t be easy, as you’ll face a truly arduous ordeal, fighting hard for survival. The ending you see depends solely on your actions.

The game takes place on vast procedurally generated maps, between which you move using special portals. There are both outdoor locations to visit (including a nearly heavenly beach, snow-capped peaks, and a sun-scorched desert) as well as vast underground areas. While exploring the land, you complete various missions and gather resources.

The raw materials acquired along the way are needed to craft better equipment and build various structures. Additionally, you cultivate the land (the game even allows cross-breeding different plants) and breed animals. As you progress, you develop the hero, enabling you to face increasing challenges.

At the beginning, you receive a few basic tools; from that moment on, you are on your own. The vast array of possibilities and threats makes each game unique, as the player shapes it.
