This action RPG game is the third part of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia.
As in the previous installments of the series, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is based on the literary motifs of Andrzej Sapkowski, but it is not a direct adaptation of his books. The production is the fruit of the work of the authors of the original – the Polish studio CD Projekt RED.
Game focuses on the invasion of the Nilfgaardian Empire on the Northern Kingdoms, stopping the titular Wild Hunt – which persecuted Geralt in the novels and marked its presence in the first and second series – as well as the search for Ciri, the adopted daughter of the Witcher and Yennefer.
The plot of the game is non-linear, and its course and ending are determined by the decisions you make during the game. Two expansions significantly impact the story. In the first one – Hearts of Stone – Geralt is hired by Mr. Mirror to face the immortal Olgierd von Everec. The second expansion – Blood and Wine – takes players to the land of Toussaint, which is one of the few that did not experience the ravages of war.
When a mysterious murderer, clearly not human, began to roam the area, Duchess Anna Henrietta decided to ask the White Wolf for help, and during the investigation you learn the dark secrets of this place – idyllic only on the surface.

To Sophie’s surprise, the volume at some point takes on the human form of a young woman named Plachta. In order to help Plachta regain her lost memories, Sophie decides to write new alchemical formulas on its pages.

Fighting opponents also plays an important role here.
Battles take place in turn-based mode, on arenas covered with a grid of square fields. Success is ensured not only by skillfully juggling the combat abilities of heroes, but also by properly deploying them on the battlefield.

When fighting these dangerous monsters, you take over their souls and abilities. With their help, you can slow down time, push opponents away with invisible energy, and even call upon an allied dragon for help.
Your decisions now have more serious consequences, related to the more interesting behavior of other characters. Dialogues have also changed, becoming much more natural. When you get bored with saving the world, you can relax with more mundane activities. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allows you to harvest crops from the ground, forge weapons in the forge, cook, mine resources, and even produce armor.

The fantasy land of Amalur is divided into several regions; the story begins with the death of the main character, then resurrected using the Well of Souls. In Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning you are dealing with a classic story “from zero to hero” and saving the world from evil.
Despite the ability to make decisions in dialogues, modeled on the Mass Effect series, the story presented in the game is mainly linear in nature. You begin our adventure by creating a hero in a fairly extensive creator that allows us to choose one of the four available races (Almain, Dokkalfar, Ljosalfar and Varani) and modify individual body parts.
At the beginning of the game, you do not choose a class, but as you progress in the game, you can develop the character in three skill trees corresponding to classic archetypes: warrior, rogue and mage.
Among the available skills, of which there are over 60 in total, there are both combat (hand-to-hand combat, finesse and sorcery) as well as crafting and social (e.g. alchemy, blacksmithing or persuasion).

What’s more, you can use elements of the environment to our advantage, for example by setting fire to oily puddles under the feet of opponents – not only during combat.
