Wolfenstein was first released in 1981 and since then it has evolved tremendously. Since its initial release, there have been more than 10 new games added to the collection. In 1992 Wolfenstein 3D was published as the first FPS Wolfenstein game. It changed the trajectory of this series and popularized first-person shooters.
The series follows the journey of William „B.J.” Blazkowicz, an American soldier who fights against the Nazis who have taken over the world. The unique storytelling of Wolfenstein makes the game one of a kind and leaves players with an appetite for more.

Mars has become a place inhabited by demons and the undead.
A special space marine who works for the Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC) has to fight them and avert the end of the world. He is often called Doomguy or Doomslayer.

Besides protecting his new home, the metro, in Exodus, he sets on a journey in a train called Aurora to the Far East.
Metro Series is more similar to a survival-horror FPS rather than a traditional shooter game, but, for example, the possibility to customize your weapon makes it a great choice for FPS fans.

Far Cry is a typical FPS with action and adventure mixed in. Up from the second Far Cry , there is an open-world kind of gameplay that contains a main story and some side quests. There is no plot connection between the games, but there are some similar points. The protagonist is usually outside the law, a frontier of some kind and he tries to navigate through a world where values and justice have been forgotten.
The use of AI in this series makes it unpredictable – the player never knows what the enemy will do as their reaction is related to how you play. And if you allow your friends to join you in the multiplayer mode you have to watch out for betrayal from both the bad guys and who you play with.
