Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is showing early signs of a sizable competitive community, with tournament registrations rising sharply before the game’s release.
More Than 1,000 Players Enter CEO 2026
The Marvel Tōkon tournament at CEO 2026 now lists 1,054 registered players. The Florida fighting game event will take place from August 14 to 16, shortly after the game launches.
An earlier CEO registration leaderboard placed Marvel Tōkon second behind Street Fighter 6, ahead of established games including Tekken 8. At the time, organizers had not published exact entry numbers.
Interest also increased across the game’s beta tournaments. A TNS competition held during the July open beta attracted 374 entrants, compared with 113 for the first beta tournament and 91 for the second.
