Pokémon Pokopia Slowpoke Humidity Quest

Raising humidity for Slowpoke is a part of a vital quest; completing it is a necessity if you want to make progress in Pokémon Pokopia.

The humidity mission is connected to the Onix quest, in which you’ll be tasked with freeing a huge, rocky Pokémon from the cave, somewhere in the western part of the Withered Wasteland region. Completing the Slowpoke quest will directly help the trapped Onix.

Why Raising Humidity for Slowpoke is Important

Slowpoke Humidity quest is tied to the Onix quest, in which you’ll be tasked with finding a way to free Onix from the cave. Onix is surrounded by boulders that seem to be too hard for it to break, making it obvious that raw strength won’t be of use here. You’ll have to think out of the box and find a cleverer solution.

After consulting with Professor Tangrowth, you’ll come to the conclusion that the only way to help Onix would be to summon rain that could soften the rocks and make them breakable.

To summon a rain, you’ll have to make Slowpoke yawn – a yawn that’s worth 100 points, no less. And to achieve that, you’ll have to raise the humidity level as much as possible.

Water Plants and Trees

Watering nearby plants is a sure way to raise the humidity level in the area. Use your Water Gun to bring withered plants back to life. It won’t only make the environment look much more appealing and livelier, but it will also directly affect humidity.

It takes quite a lot of watering to increase humidity this way, but it’s a necessity if you want to achieve a 100% Slowpoke yawn.

Pokémon Pokopia Environmental Puzzle Solution – Break Dripping Blocks

If you look around the area, you’ll notice there are several cracked stones in the walls with water dripping through them. Destroy these blocks using Hitmonchan Rock Smash ability to let the water flow freely, boosting humidity levels significantly.

Place Horsea Fountain Decoration in the Water

Restoring natural water flow will create pools and ponds. This is useful as it will allow you to utilize another way of increasing humidity even further. Place Horsea-shaped fountains in the pools and enjoy higher humidity!

You can get an extra fountain from the shop.

Create Field of Flowers and Hydrated Tall Grass Habitats

Some water-related habitats can prove to be particularly useful at increasing humidity in Withered Wasteland. Field of flowers and hydrated tall grass biomes are the ones you’re looking for, as they’re directly related to the game’s humidity system.

If you don’t know how to make them, ask Bulbasaur and Squirtle, and they’ll teach you.

How to Reach 100 Humidity: Complete Pokémon Requests!

Completing Pokémon requests is essential for bringing humidity levels to the maximum. Slowpoke, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle are particularly useful as they all have some small tasks related to the rain summoning quest for you.

Talk to them if you’re stuck – they may have some valuable hints that will point you in the right direction. And don’t forget to talk to Professor Tangrowth as well.

One of the requests involves creating a Rain Dance site habitat for Squirtle. Have you done it yet?

Check Current Objectives in the Main Menu

If you’ve done everything else, yet Slowpoke’s yawning score still falls below 100 points, you should take a look at the Requests tab in the menu. Clicking a major task will reveal all the smaller objectives that are yet to be completed. Double-check your requests and see what’s missing. It’s worth noting that Pokémon may have more than one request.

How to Check the Current Humidity Level in Pokémon Pokopia

If you’re not sure how much progress you’ve made so far, you can always talk to Slowpoke and ask it for a yawn. The yawn will get a score – the closer you are to 100 points, the better.

Your main objective in the Slowpoke rain quest is to get a perfect, 100-point yawn.
