Looking for a way to get into Black Ops 6’s beta? The upcoming game is shaping up to be the next big thing in the first-person shooter realm, so no wonder people are getting really excited for it.

In this article we’ll guide you through the ways you can secure your beta key and play BO6 in early access.

The beta’s been announced to start on August 30, 2024, so this is a good moment to look for methods of grabbing your keys. There’s a couple options and paths you can take here. Let’s start with the first one, shall we?

The Black Ops 6 Beta access closed on September 5th.
However, you can still find Black Ops 6 deals on G2A.COM.

The easiest solution: get a Game Pass plan or a Black Ops 6 pre-order

That’s right. Just grab any Game Pass tier above Game Pass Core and you will be given access to the B06 beta. The same goes for purchasing a pre-order of the game. If you buy the digital version or get a Game Pass subscription, you will receive access to the beta automatically, no need to grab any keys.

If you buy a physical version, however, the retailer should give you a separate key which you will the be able to use to get into the beta.

Get Xfinity and sign up for Xfinity Rewards

Xfinity subscribers, rejoice – you can head over to the Rewards tab and claim your code there. Certain limitations might apply. Be sure to check out the official FAQ on Xfinity’s website for more information on that.

You can simply just wait for open beta

That’s right: everyone will get access to the beta at one point, namely September 6, 2024, PC, PS5, and Xbox alike. So, if you don’t mind waiting a bit, just hold out until that date and you’ll be able to join in the fun.

And it might be worth it, as Black Ops 6’s beta will let you grab some nice little rewards unavailable post this period.

How to redeem your beta key

If you have an active Game Pass subscription – anything better than Core goes – or if you bought a pre-order of the game, then you don’t need to take any additional steps. But what can you do if you receive a separate beta key?

Well, redeeming it is quite simple:

  1. Simply head over to the beta redemption site, log in to your Activision account (you’ll need to create one if you don’t have it already), enter the code, redeem it, and voila!
  2. If everything works fine, you’ll get a confirmation message. You’ll get a platform-specific code via e-mail once you get early access to the beta.

To install the game once you have access to the beta, you just need to go to your platform’s storefront and download Black Ops 6 there. If you have Call of Duty and Season 5.5 installed, you’ll get the beta as an update.

As you can see, you can easily get into the Black Ops 6 beta. If you’re not interested in any subscriptions or purchases to gain early access, simply wait until September 6, 2024 when the beta will be open to everyone. Have fun!
