Although Hades 2 focuses primarily on combat, greeneries are crucial for story progression and advancing to the following gameplay stages. Let’s see how to collect them all!

As Persephone’s daughter, Melinoe — the game protagonist — possesses an incredible talent for gardening. This particular skill plays a crucial role in the game, as the right flora and seeds are essential for crafting Incantations and upgrades.

In this guide, we will provide you with precise information on where to find them all. However, please remember that knowledge is accurate today but may change in the future. So, let’s dive into this Hades 2 guide to gather all the seeds!

How to Grow Seeds?

Since Crossroads serves as a haven for Melinoe, it lets her plant greeneries after a few preparations. To start harvesting these incredibly beneficial florae, unlock some Soil Plots using simple incantations. Start with the Flourishing Soil spell, which only costs one Moly flower available early in the game.

It will give you two Soil Plots, but you can get two more with Rich Soil spell for a total of four. Rich Soil requires three Lotuses, and like Moly flowers, they are available on initial runs.

There is also a Verdant Soil incantation requiring one Wheat and one Garlic – these you must grow in your garden to obtain the last two Soil Plots for a total of six.

Don’t worry if you still haven’t unlocked the Flourishing Soil incantation. Just play the game until it appears, and try to chat with as many characters with an exclamation point next to their heads as possible. You should be able to unlock the spell shortly after gathering your first Moly flower.

But how do you actually plant all these acquired seeds? That’s the easiest part. Once you have them in the inventory, head near the entrance to the training area at the Crossroads and press A on an available space. That will allow you to choose from all the seeds you already have and start planting them.

From that point on, the seeds show the exact time they need to evolve into a mature plant, and this number represents the encounters you must complete on the upcoming run.

All Herbs and Where To Find Them

Some resources can be harvested by hand. Others require the use of a Silver Spade. So, if you are on the run on the Surface or in the Underworld, remember to take the Spade to dig them out of randomly spawning soil patches. Now let’s see where we can find each seed!
