Both unlock limited-time enchants that boost rod stats and help trigger rare fish mutations.

How to Get to Sweetheart Shores
Start in Moosewood. Go to the Shipwright, then step into the glowing pink Valentine portal. It teleports you straight to Sweetheart Shores, the event island.
Event Relics: Cupid and Valentine
Two relics are available:
- Cupid’s Relic: boosts speed and helps farm Sweet mutations
- Valentine’s Relic: offers resilience and targets rare Valentine mutations
Each unlocks a different enchantment and only works during the event.
Cupid’s Relic Fisch – Buy or Fish It
To buy, head opposite Sweetheart Sarah and look for Shopkeeper Tom. Cupid’s Relic costs 15,000 Chocolates. NPC quests on the island are the best way to earn Chocolates quickly.
For a free method, swim up the waterfall, reach the mountain pond near the pink hut, and fish there. Use Fish Radar and drop Aurora Totems to speed things up. This is the fastest way to collect Cupid Relics without spending currency.
Valentine’s Relic Fisch
Swim into the waterfall cave and look behind a tree. The relic is there, but it’s locked behind a price tag: 35,000 Chocolates. You can’t fish for it. The only option is to buy.
Cupid vs Valentine – What’s the Difference?
Cupid’s Relic is cheap and farmable, focused on fast fishing and Sweet mutations. Valentine’s is pricier, more resilient, and improves your odds with rare, harder fish.
Relic Enchant Breakdown
Cupid Enchant:
- 10% chance for Sweet mutation
- 25% Lure Speed
- 36% Progress Speed
Valentine Enchant:
- 45% chance for Valentine mutation
- 10% Resilience
- 30% Progress Speed
Cupid is better for speed, Valentine for control during long fights.
Which Relic to Use
Cupid’s Relic is the go-to if you want fast farming and lots of mutations in a short time. When you’re building for survivability and longer fights, swapping to Valentine’s Relic makes more sense.
The setup really shines when paired with rods like Cupid’s Embrace, where the bonuses stack in your favor and smooth out tougher encounters.

Run NPC quests to earn Chocolates fast. When fishing Cupid Relics, use radar buffs and totems. Save your Valentine’s Relic for serious setups that can use the stats properly.
