Pokémon Pokopia continues to roll out post-launch updates, and its next event is set to introduce Sableye to the game alongside a range of new items and rewards.

Pokopia’s strong launch has kept momentum going for post-release content, with Sableye lined up as the fourth new addition added after release. The event also brings new decorations, a fresh habitat, and event-specific currency for players to collect and spend.

If you want to know exactly when the event starts and what it includes, here’s a full breakdown of the Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt event.

TL;DR

The Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt event begins at 5 AM local time on April 29, 2026, and ends at 4:59 AM local time on May 14.

The event adds Sableye, a new habitat, camping-themed items, and Red Crystal Fragments as the limited-time event currency.

That makes it the third post-launch event for the game, following the earlier Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff event, as well as the April Fool’s event that offered an Inflatable Sudowoodo reward.

What Time Does the Event Start?

The Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt event starts at 5 AM local time on April 29, 2026. Because the event uses a local-time rollout, players will not need to wait for a single global unlock.

As long as it is after 5 AM in your region, the event should be live.

The event will stay active for more than two weeks and ends at 4:59 AM local time on May 14. Once that end time passes, the event content will no longer be available through normal play.

All Content in the Event

The headline addition in the Sableye’s Gem Hunt event is Sableye itself, which becomes the fourth event-exclusive Pokémon added to Pokémon Pokopia after launch.

The event also includes a new habitat and several themed items, with camping-style decorations and buildings among the rewards. Items mentioned include a Tent Kit, Sleeping Bag, Camping Chair, and Digital Camera.

Like the earlier Hoppip event, players will need to collect and exchange event currency to unlock rewards. In this case, the currency is Red Crystal Fragments, and items can be purchased through the shop inside any rebuilt Pokémon Center.

If you miss any rewards during the event, or simply want extras, the camera function and 3D printer can reportedly be used to replicate items even after the event has ended.

Can You Access It Early?

Like previous Pokémon Pokopia events, the content is reportedly already accessible if you change your console’s time and date to fall within the event window.

Still, there does not appear to be much advantage to unlocking it early, especially since the event is scheduled to run for an extended period.

It may also be possible to revisit event content after May 14 by changing the console clock back to the event period, though that will only be confirmed once the event has officially concluded.
