The Sinking City 2 is available in three digital editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. The basic game is the same in each case, while the more expensive versions add cosmetics, starting resources, a separate side mission, and, in the case of Premium, 24-hour advanced access.

There is also a Chthonic Arsenal preorder bonus available with any edition, so you do not need to buy the most expensive version to get the additional weapons.

The Sinking City 2 Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is the straightforward option. It contains the full base game and no additional edition-specific content.

Preorder it before launch, however, and you also receive the Chthonic Arsenal, which contains three additional weapons:

  • Shale Mary – handgun
  • The Breakwater – shotgun
  • Tektite Tommy – SMG

Each weapon has its own distinctive design, giving Calvin a few more ways to deal with Arkham’s less welcoming residents from the beginning of the game.

The Sinking City 2 Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition contains the base game and the Arkham Field Kit. This is mostly a mixture of cosmetics and useful starting resources rather than additional story content.

The Arkham Field Kit includes:

  • The Anatomist outfit
  • The Witness outfit
  • Heretic Heraldry outfit
  • 3 Dream Essence
  • Resource Pack with ammunition, healing supplies, and crafting materials

The Dream Essence gives you a head start toward unlocking your first Talent, while the Resource Pack should make the opening stretch of the survival-horror campaign slightly less punishing.

The Sinking City 2 Premium Edition

The Premium Edition is the most complete digital version. It contains the base game, the Arkham Field Kit from the Deluxe Edition, and 24-hour advanced access, allowing buyers to enter Arkham one day before the regular August 18, 2026 launch.

Its biggest addition is The Holloway Manor, an approximately two-hour side mission set inside a decaying mansion shaped by a family’s history of occult practices.

Completing the mission can unlock several rewards for use in the main campaign:

  • Bucking Bronco revolver
  • Kane’s Hefty Barrel attachment
  • Kane’s Wrapped Grip attachment
  • Revolver ammunition recipe

Players who preorder the Premium Edition also receive the Chthonic Arsenal, just like Standard and Deluxe preorder customers.

Which The Sinking City 2 edition should you buy?

The Standard Edition makes the most sense if you only want the main survival-horror campaign. The Deluxe Edition is primarily for players interested in extra outfits and a small resource boost at the beginning of the game.

The Premium Edition is the more substantial upgrade because it adds actual playable content through The Holloway Manor, alongside its exclusive mission rewards and 24-hour advanced access.

Whichever edition you choose, preordering before launch provides the same Chthonic Arsenal weapon pack, so the three bonus guns are not locked behind Deluxe or Premium.
