Invincible VS

Release Date: April 30, 2026

Genres: Fighting

It started as a comic book written by Robert Kirkman (of The Walking Dead fame), with the original run going for fifteen years between 2003 and 2018, published by Image Comics.

What is Invincible like?

One of its core aspects is being a superhero story, full of flying brick-type characters, spectacular superpowers, magic, alternate dimensions, fancy technology and everything else that characterizes popular superhero universes.

The second core is a story about people who are, fundamentally, well, people, not heroic archetypes. It’s the kind of series that’s happy to shift from a battle against invading aliens to an awkward dinner if that’s where the characters’ lives take them. The slice-of-life elements give important context to the stakes of the big events, which is just good writing.

And not much of it matters for Invincible VS, actually,

What is Invincible VS

Invincible VS is a fighting game focused on 3v3 tag tam battles between various characters from the invincible universe. It features:

  • fast-paced, superpowered battles between heroes, villains and people with negotiable moralities.
  • more than a little of the series’ thematically motivated brutal graphic violence, since many characters are very capable of reducing others into meaty chunks.
  • multiple modes, including a Story Mode, Arcade battles, robust Training, and multiplayer options both ranked and casual.

There is also a very strong roster of characters for you to play. While the game will teach you organically what you need to know of their playstyles, let’s give them a small introduction regarding their place in the story, shall we?
