WW1 Gallipoli Release Date Confirmed With 25% Launch Discount

BlackMill Games has confirmed a new release date for WW1 Gallipoli, bringing the long-awaited World War I shooter to players later this summer.

Alongside the announcement, the studio also revealed a launch discount that will make the game available at a reduced price during its debut.

Following a delay earlier this year, the developers say the extra development time has been used to polish the experience ahead of release. A brand-new trailer accompanied the announcement, giving players another look at the upcoming multiplayer battlefield.

WW1 Gallipoli Arrives on August 20

Originally planned for release on May 21, 2026, WW1 Gallipoli was pushed back so the development team could focus on final improvements and additional polishing. BlackMill Games has now confirmed that the game will officially launch on August 20, 2026.

To celebrate the release, the studio will offer a 25% launch discount, lowering the price to €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99. The offer applies across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with full cross-platform multiplayer available from day one.

What to Expect From WW1 Gallipoli

Set during the historic Gallipoli campaign on the Ottoman Front, WW1 Gallipoli puts players into large-scale 25v25 multiplayer battles between the British Empire and Ottoman forces. Combat unfolds across a variety of authentic environments, including coastal beaches, villages, and arid desert landscapes.

Players can choose from ten historically inspired classes, including Officer, Sniper, Heavy Machine Gunner, and Stretcher Bearer, each offering a different role on the battlefield.

To reinforce the game’s historical setting, BlackMill Games has included approximately 50 authentic weapons and equipment pieces based on those used by both armies during the First World War.
