Vice City would not feel like Vice City without a killer radio soundtrack.
Rockstar’s 26-minute GTA VI Extended Look featured at least 14 licensed songs, jumping between hip-hop, classic rock, synth-pop, country, Latin music, and electronic tracks.
The showcase was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5 and gave us the clearest taste yet of what cruising around Leonida might actually sound like.
Rockstar has not revealed GTA VI’s complete radio station lineup yet, but the songs heard during the presentation already suggest a deliberately broad soundtrack.
Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red and Kodak Black Bring the Florida Rap Energy
The contemporary side of the soundtrack includes Birdman and Lil Wayne’s “Pop Bottles,” Sexyy Red and Tay Keith’s “Pound Town,” and Kodak Black’s “Skrilla.”
Kodak Black is an especially natural fit for Rockstar’s fictional Florida. GTA VI is set across Leonida, with Vice City at its center, so modern Southern and Florida hip-hop should feel right at home alongside the palm trees, muscle cars, clubs, and criminal chaos.

GTA VI Is Not Forgetting the Classics
Rockstar also reached much further back. The Extended Look includes Depeche Mode’s “People Are People,” Def Leppard’s “Love Bites,” Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now),” The Bellamy Brothers’ “Let Your Love Flow,” and Cliff Richard’s “Devil Woman.”
That mix feels very GTA. A modern city does not mean every radio station has to sound modern, and the older tracks immediately evoke the eclectic radio programming that made Vice City and San Andreas so memorable.

Every Song Heard in the GTA VI Extended Look
The 14 identified tracks span hip-hop, rock, pop, country, Latin, new wave, and electronic music. That does not necessarily mean every track is confirmed for a specific in-game radio station, only that each was used somewhere in Rockstar’s Extended Look presentation.
GTA VI’s Soundtrack Is Already Looking Very GTA
The best GTA soundtracks have never belonged to one era or genre. You steal a car, change the station, and suddenly you are listening to something you would never have searched for yourself.
GTA VI already seems to be following that formula. One moment can sound like current Florida rap, the next like 1980s synth-pop, country, classic rock, Latin music, or late-night electronic radio.
Previous trailers have followed the same approach, with Rockstar using songs including Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” and The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together.” The Extended Look now gives us a much broader idea of how varied Leonida’s musical identity could become.

Vice City Radio Is Going to Be Dangerous for Your Playlist
Fourteen songs are only a tiny sample of what will presumably be a much larger soundtrack, but Rockstar has already established the important part: GTA VI’s music is not tied to one generation.
If the final radio lineup keeps jumping this comfortably between Lil Wayne, Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, Sexyy Red, Latin music, country, and electronic tracks, simply driving around Leonida may once again become one of the best ways to discover new music.
