Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is official. Rockstar Games has revealed a 34-track soundtrack album launching alongside GTA VI on November 19, 2026, and the first six songs are already available to listen to.
And this is not simply a compilation of old songs pulled from Vice City’s radio stations.
Rockstar describes the album as containing 34 original tracks made to capture the energy of Vice City and Leonida, with a roster that already includes Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Keith Richards, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and more.
Digital pre-saves are live, while Rockstar is also taking preorders for physical vinyl and CD editions.
Official status: Rockstar Games has confirmed the album title, 34-track count, November 19 release date, first six singles, digital pre-save, and physical vinyl/CD preorder options.

Rockstar officially reveals GTA VI: The Album
After several days of cryptic artist posts, GTA-styled artwork, and Spotify advertising, Rockstar has finally explained what at least part of the campaign was building toward.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a standalone 34-track music release arriving on November 19, 2026, the same day as GTA VI itself.
Rockstar says the album contains original music intended to capture the atmosphere of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
That wording is important. This is not being presented simply as a playlist of licensed tracks already sitting in Rockstar’s music library. Rockstar is promoting it as its own album, with newly released songs and some seriously big names attached.
You can see Rockstar’s official announcement and pre-save options on the GTA VI music page.
The first six GTA VI album songs are already out
Rockstar did not make everyone wait until November to hear what the project sounds like.
Six debut singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album are already available:
| Song | Artist |
|---|---|
| That’s It | Yung Lean feat. Future and Metro Boomin’ |
| RHYNO | Travis Scott |
| Sexy Magic | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy |
| Last Thing You Need | Morgan Wallen |
| Macacoa 2000 | Rauw Alejandro |
| Bright Lights, Big City | Keith Richards |
That is a pretty wild spread before we have even seen the remaining 28 tracks.
Hip-hop, country, Latin music, electronic pop, alternative artists, and a Rolling Stone are already sharing the same album. If Rockstar wanted the musical side of Leonida to feel difficult to pin down to one genre, mission accomplished.
Does this mean GTA VI only has 34 songs?
No, and this is probably the easiest detail to misunderstand.
Rockstar is announcing a 34-track album. That is not the same thing as saying GTA VI contains only 34 pieces of music.
We already heard at least 14 licensed songs during Rockstar’s recent 26-minute Extended Look, including music from Lil Wayne, Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, Kodak Black, Def Leppard, Chimbala & Omega, Elderbrook & Bob Moses, and others.
You can see that full breakdown in our GTA VI Extended Look soundtrack guide.
The complete radio lineup remains another question entirely.
Given what Grand Theft Auto games traditionally do with radio stations, licensed tracks, talk programming, ambient music, and original scoring, the 34-song album should be treated as one part of GTA VI’s much larger audio package.
GTA VI: The Album is getting vinyl and CD releases too
Rockstar is not limiting this release to Spotify and other streaming platforms.
The official music page offers a digital pre-save alongside preorders for vinyl and CD editions. Rockstar’s shop area also lists both a standard vinyl option and a limited-edition vinyl release.
That fits the scale of the campaign surprisingly well.
Rockstar spent years turning Grand Theft Auto radio into an important part of each game’s identity. GTA VI now appears to be taking the next step by treating its music as a separate launch-day release rather than something players discover only after getting behind the wheel.
GTA VI and its album launch on the same day
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
That means Rockstar is lining up the game and the album for the same date.

Vice City already has a soundtrack
There are still 28 songs on GTA VI: The Album that Rockstar has not revealed, not to mention the game’s complete radio lineup.
But the first six tracks already make the point.
Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Future, Rauw Alejandro, PinkPantheress, Yung Lean, Fred again.. and Metro Boomin are all part of the same project. That is less a genre and more a musical traffic jam, which feels pretty appropriate for Vice City.
And now we know exactly when the rest arrives: November 19, alongside GTA VI itself.
