We received confirmed dates for the betas as well.

Here’s a tweet from Bungie that tells you the whole story:

As you see, console players will be able to start playing Destiny 2 two days earlier, on September 6th. People preordering the game will start their Beta journey on July 18th on PS4 and a day later on XO. The open beta period starts on July 21st and the whole test ends on July 23rd.

There’s also interesting news for PC players. A separate beta for them is planned for August, and it’s now confirmed that the full release of Destiny 2 will happen on October 24th.
