After the recent rumors the new DLC is now confirmed.
While we are receiving DLC Packs for both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered, there is still some development still going around Black Ops III (it was already confirmed that the game might get further additions). It was confirmed in a rather hilarious way:
As you see above, Treyarch’s Jason Blundell confirmed to YouTuber JCbackfire that Zombies Chronicles are definitely a thing and they are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Eight maps total from previous CoD titles will be remastered and that includes:
- 3 maps from Call of Duty: World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa
- 4 maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon
- 1 map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Origins
The DLC will be released first on PlayStation 4 on May 16th, with PC and Xbox One receiving the expansion around a month later. Treyarch plans the reveal livestream on May 8th. You can check the timeline for Zombies Chronicles on game’s official site.
