Dead Space Remake was a hot release, but it’s heat managed to die down a little bit over the past two years or so, leaving fans of goopy biomass monsters somewhat in-between horrors. Bloober Team’s upcoming game might alleviate this.
The new trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn shows off the shooting, and the exploration, all of which is great, but the special emphasis, complete with on-screen text is a warning not to let the monsters merge. A reasonable request in any context, but Cronoc does make a particularly strong case for it, with a merged form which can only be described as “spiky and writhing”. Nothing good is ever described as writhing.
Cronos is planned for a Fall 2025 launch, and when a more specific date becomes available, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
