The concept of the game as a learning tool will be enhanced.
Creative director Jean Guesdon revealed that a patch sometime next year will introduce a very interesting feature to the new Assassin’s Creed game.
Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt is supposed to be an evolution of the history database that was always present in the game. Instead of that, however, we will now get full tours of the landmarks in the game.
The world of Origins will be devoid of narrative and fighting and instead populated with tours that will take you, station by station, through the wonders of Ancient Egypt, explaining everything along the way.
“We met with specialist historians; Egyptologists in this case, and we really tried to bring this time period as close to a level of immersion that’s never been seen.”
The game is out on October 27 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
