The VR title is now scheduled to release on Microsoft’s console.
Last year The Assembly was released on PlayStation 4 (for PS VR), Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Now, although it’s a bit surprising because of the lack of VR headset, this interactive story will be available on Xbox One.
The Assembly is scheduled to release on January 20th, priced $29.99. It’s designed for mature audiences as it’s a story about real-world anxieties set in a sci-fi surroundings. Here’s a brief official description:
The game centers around the Assembly, a collective of scientists, academics and engineers who have hidden themselves away from the world. In an unknown underground bunker, the Assembly conducts covert experiments and discovers shocking new truths outside of the constraints of government scrutiny and society’s morals. Explore the secrets that the Assembly is hiding through the perspectives of two characters, newcomer Madeleine Stone and experienced scientist Cal Pearson.
