A new turn-based strategy game from Harebrained Schemes (now owned by Paradox) about giant mechs has seen a fair bit of success, prompting the developers to continue pumping out content for the game, as is standard with Paradox.

But first, a major update (totaling in size a whooping 1.7 Gigabytes of space, which is crazy for an update) provides a whole slew of changes to the game.

Probably most importantly t adds new difficulty settings, allowing the players to tweak various aspects of the game separately, from simple things like damage you’ll do and take, to more complex ones like the strength of Mech pilots available for hire. Additionally, as is standard fare for Paradox games, players can now play on Ironman mode to disable the ability to save on multiple slots.

Additionally there’s a whole host of smaller, quality-of-life updates, making the game faster and more accessible. A full support for ultra-wide monitors is also implemented and you can now play in all window options (although reportedly not all issues have been fixed).

The whole list is massive, so I’m going to leave it here for you to read through at your own leisure. The main gist of it that an already good game has improved a lot, now might be a good time to check it out.
