With almost 3 weeks left to release of the game you’d be forgiven for thinking that this may be a bit premature, but here it is.

Welcome to the party indeed. Now, the question on everyone’s mind, interestingly enough, is whether Call of Duty can beat Fortnite at their own game. It’s quite difficult to say, there’s after all a lot of different factors to consider here. Fortnite is for one free to play and for another, CoD’s battle royale mode is a very different beast from Fortnite.

Still, while there is no single player campaign this time around, but something of a storyline has been Frankensteined unto the zombies mode, which jumps in time between various locals and events, including yes, Titanic. It’s… Odd but strangely appropriate for a zombie mode. And the beating hard of CoD, the generally dubbed “multiplayer” definitely seems solid, from what we’ve seen from the beta.

In any case, October 12th is a go date. We’re in the home stretch now. I mean we all know this game isn’t going to disappoint, but then again I don’t think any of us expect it to be truly ground-breaking right?
