24 Entertainment. the developers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT decided to do something different from the fancy PvP slashfest, and went straight for a dramatic tale set in China of 848 AD.
If you’ve been a bit worn down by the prevalence of over-the-top wuxia-inspired action games, but still crave an interactive look at Chinese history and culture, then Blood Message is probably got to activate your neurons. It will put you in the role of a messenger carrying a message crucial to the course of the Tang dynasty.
24 Entertainment definitely is taking on a big challenge for their first game of this kind, with gritty combat, stealth elements, and majestic landscapes. It’s a far cry from Naraka, but if the impressive trailer is any indication, the team is fully capable of handling a more grounded experience rooted in historical events.
There is no release date, or even window yet, but we will let you know when it’s announced.
