Pretty soon you’ll be able to check what it’s all about yourselves.

Sledgehammer Games is giving PC players a chance to test out the multiplayer component of their latest shooter Call of Duty: World War II. You’ll be needing a Steam account to participate.

The beta will start on September 29 and last through October 2. The goal here is to: “stress test core gameplay systems and online backend infrastructure at scale”.

Here are the specs required:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i3 3225 or equivalent
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • HDD: 25 GB HD space
  • Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 @ 2 GB / AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 @ 2GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

The full game will be released on November 3.
