Changes to the gameplay and new fighters are ready for your testing.
Starting on March 28th at 9PM GMT and up to April 3rd at 8pm GMT you will be able to play Street Fighter V for free (only the Steam version). This trial grants access to online modes and offers the first look at the updated matchmaking process, making it faster to find a proper opponent.
The upcoming changes focus heavily on loading times and Capcom plans to further optimize the time before Ranked and Casual Matches. There’s also an option to blacklist players on Capcom Fighters Network and you will be able to filter leaderboards and games based on country or league.
Finally, an “in-game announcer will provide players and opponents with stats using data pulled from the server,” while more advanced stats will be added to Fighter Profiles.
