It’s a rare thing for a game released in 1997 to receive a free update nowadays.
Turok was originally released in the late 90s and since then there’s a group of fans playing it eagerly. The game was re-released on Steam with support for high resolutions and widescreen, improved gameplay, changes in graphics and, most importantly for all those trophy hunters, Steam Achievements.
Overall reviews for this version are “Overwhelmingly Positive” and, as it appears, the game is still supported. The team of Night Dive Studios has released an update containing custom level editor.
You are free to create your own maps and missions, and then share them with the community. It’s easy thanks to the Steam Workshop support. For a game that old it will be great to see what comes next from the players, especially because Turok celebrates 20th Anniversary in just two months.
