Probably the most divisive game by FromSoftware received a brand new modification made by AoiYozora. What does it contain?
Well, for starters, it doesn’t feature any new content, but it does bring Dark Souls 2 up to par with the latest Souls-likes. For instance, it features a new jumping mechanic pulled straight from Elden Ring. You can also use Estus Flasks while moving.
The mod also features changes to NPC, enemy, and bonfire placements. Boss fights have also been made a bit more interesting. There’s also a bunch of visual upgrades as well.
All in all, it’s a perfect opportunity to either revisit Dark Souls 2 or try it for the first time, but with better visuals and modernized gameplay.
