The game will release next year for the platforms you would expect.

The series is alive, as many gamers hoped for! Darksiders III leaked and is confirmed for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release for 2018. After playing as War and Death now it’s the time to play as the third of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – Fury herself.

Fury is a mage that relies heavily on a whip and spells in her combat. She will use various forms (yet to be defined), which will give her access to different weapons, attacks and traversal abilities. The game grants you access to an open world, where you’ll have various chances to go back and access previously inaccessible secrets and treasures.

The main bosses of the game are the Seven Deadly Sins themselves, and you’ll find their servants among lesser enemies – they “range from mystical creatures to degenerated beings.” As you’ll notice through artwork and screenshots below, the game uses a well known artstyle, allowing you to once again discover a post-apocalyptic world.

It’s currently unknown where the story of Darksiders III is set in the timeline, but if you want to remind yourself of previous games, both are available as Darksiders: Fury’s Collection – War and Death. Currently it is available on the European PlayStation Store, but we expect it to pop-up elsewhere soon.
