Tired of Battle Royale?

The Darwin Project was first presented at E3 this year and was quite a nice surprise. Set in the Rocky Mountains it was described as “half science experiment half live-entertainment” where participants have to fight off not only the cold but also other players.

So it’s Battle Royale with an interesting setting on top of that. The game was kept quiet since June and only now the devs, Scavenger Studios, announced that a closed alpha is coming next month. That will give some of us a chance to play and most of us to see the game in action.

The closed alpha will begin at 9 am PT/12 pm ET on November 10, and end at the same time on November 12. Participants will be able to stream their games for others to take a peek. You can subscribe here.
