The answer applicable to most population is the regular release format, but if you’re one of the early adopters who got advanced access among the benefits, scroll a bit further down.

Release platforms

Death Stranding 2 is releasing only on PlayStation 5 for now, but it is reasonable to expect a PC launch sometime down the line, like it was in the case of DS1.

Will there be a Death Stranding 3?

Who’s to say, but if it was to happen, it won’t for some time yet, as Kojima Production is reportedly shifting gears to work on a new game, referred to as Physint. It’s said to be tapping the same espionage vibes that Metal Gear Solid series was so good at.

Now you’re armed with all the knowledge you need to play Death Stranding 2 at release… and a little extra, as a treat. Have fun!
