For too long has the fight for the Super Earth kept the helldivers away from home. But now the Illuminate are threatening the planet, and that just cannot stand!
The Heart of Democracy update for Helldivers 2 is up and kicking, letting you fight for the Managed Democracy on the streets of Super Earth. You’ll be facing the vaguely “War of the Worlds” machines of the Illuminate, an enemy faction which recently officially joined the ranks of Super Earth’s active enemies.
Super Earth mission came with a new mission type, focused on setting up defense cannon, as well as a new map type, focused on an urban environment. During missions, heroic Helldivers will have the support of allied soldiers, and an extra complication in the shape of civilians to protect.
The update is live on both PlayStation 5 and Steam, so get started!
