Dishonored 2 with 9GB Day One patch

As reported by a Reddit user LegalTRR the PlayStation 4 edition of Dishonored 2 has a 9GB of day one patch. This comes on top of the game’s 48GB the main installation requires.

According to LegalTRR, the patch includes “Improved texture streamer, shadow quality, reloading time, audio mix, framerate performance. Added mid mission stats screen and screenshot preview for saved games and various bug fixed” (original spelling).

It was confirmed by GameSpot that the Xbox One version also faces the 9GB update.

Dishonored 2 is a first-person stealth-action game set in a fantasy world reminiscent of the 19^th century industrial revolution era.

Dishonored 2 release date is 11 November 2016, with pre-load available to those who purchased a preorder.
