There’s going to be more crafting and more exploring along the way.
Don’t Starve: Hamlet puts Wilson on a pth to find a tribe of aristocratic pigmen and as the description puts it: “Reacquaint to city life with pig shops, houses, new items, biomes and more, or delve into the ancient pig ruins and try your hand at treasure hunting in this new single player expansion”. It is set to be released in the first half of 2018.
Don’t Starve Together: The Forge is the first in a series of time limited events for the multiplayer portion of the game. It will give players new rules to play the game to keep it fresh. They will feature new locations and bosses as well as new equipment, skins, weapons etc.
There’s also a free content update – Dont’s Starve: Shipwrecked – which is still in beta phase and you can access it now through the beta tab in Steam game options by using the password “shipwreckedbeta”. You’ll find plenty of new content but be careful – a beta is still a beta and errors might come out.
