It’s been a long wait since the last entry in the Double Dragon series.
Since its debut in 1987 Double Dragon series grew in popularity. A compilation of three titles was released in 2013 under the name of Double Dragon Trilogy for Steam, Android and iOS. Now it’s time for a proper full game to join the ranks.
As for now, details about Double Dragon IV are scarce. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC on January 30th, 2017. It’s a direct sequel to Double Dragon II: The Revenge with events taking place just a moment after the second game. 8-bit artstyle similar to the original games is planned as you may see in this first teaser:
