G2A.COM  G2A News Latest News Dragon Age II’s Lead Designer explains why the expansion never happened
Although Mass Effect Andromeda is now in focus, BioWare’s Mike Laidlaw decided to write about a never-published add-on for Dragon Age II.
Mike Laidlaw is now the Creative Director of Dragon Age series and he served as Lead Designer while the first two games were produced. As we have known for a long time, there was an expansion planned.
It was called Exalted March and continued Hawke’s story after he became the Champion of Kirkwall. Laidlaw wrote about the ideas for the expansion, as well as the reasons it was cancelled. Unfortunately, he decided to use Twitter and 24 messages total. You’ll find the first one embeded below and a full list on Mike’s Twitter profile. A lot of inside info!
