The game will be available as Shin Sangoku Musou 8 in Japan.
Another entry in the Dynasty Warriors series is currently in development, Tecmo Koei confirmed. There’s only a small teaser available (embedded below) with an additional brief gameplay video, but some further details were collected by Gematsu.
This time the game is an open world experience. The whole China is recreated, but mountain regions may not host battles due to terrain problems. Famous places like Hulao Pass and Zhongyuan are recreated in detail.
All 83 characters that appeared up to Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires will be available in game. Zhou Cang is a new character with some comedic touches. You should visit Gematsu to check a set of the first graphics with videos embedded below:
