According to the publishing giant, we’re in for a few surprises and a lot of gameplay.

You can tune into the conference next month – August 21 at 5:30 PM BST and, in the words of Electronic Arts, “to see gameplay, live matches, and a few surprises as well”.

If you plan on visiting the conference in Cologne, then starting August 22nd you’ll be able to take advantage of one of the 400 stations that the company is readying for fans and journalists alike. Attendees can have their hands on with titles like FIFA 18, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Need for Speed Payback or the new DLC for Battlefield 1.

The conference will probably be very similar to what we saw during E3 earlier this year. This promises a live show with the “surprises” EA mentioned but also speeches by devs and producers, which might prove interesting for someone who shuns a reveal trailer. Fingers crossed.

Gamescom 2017 takes place August 22-26 in Cologne, Germany. Expect press coverage from August 21.
