Origin, the Electronic Arts online service and shop used to distribute the company’s games on PC, has received a beta update with many minor and major tweaks.
The beta update includes such features as download speed management, in-game frame rate monitoring, or joining a friend’s game even you are playing some other Origin title. The service will shut down your current game and launch the one you want to play with your friend.
To join in the beta testing of the patch, you need to do this through the Application Settings tab.
