The Escapists 2 will be released in August

The game received a confirmed release date for three major platforms and Nintendo Switch isn’t among them.

Developer Mouldy Toof Studios and Team17, serving as game’s publisher, revealed that The Escapists 2 will release on August 22nd on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version is expected “to follow”, but without a specific launch date as for now.

The game offers a dedicated tutorial for new players, 10 unique prisons, over 300 customizations and many more features that expand over the idea of the original game. While there are retail preorders already live, digital editions should be available soon.
