Rebellion Developments is producing a full-fledged sequel, but it won’t be released anytime soon.
Fans of the original Evil Genius were hoping for an imminent announcement and here it is. Evil Genius 2 is being produced and right now it’s aimed for a PC release with console versions probably happening. “We’ll look at other platforms and see what fits and what doesn’t,” we read in the announcement.
But hold your horses! The development has begun this Spring and it’s still in early stages. Rebellion aimed to start a crowdfunding campaign for the game, but after recent changes in the company, it’s now focused on self-funded production. You shouldn’t expect big reveals anytime soon, unfortunately.
