Final Fantasy Resonance is going big on music. Square Enix has revealed that the upcoming HD-2D RPG will have an original soundtrack spanning 120 tracks across four CDs.
The soundtrack combines music originating from Final Fantasy Brave Exvius with 33 tracks newly added for Final Fantasy Resonance. That means the remake and reworking of Brave Exvius’ first story arc is getting a substantial amount of new music rather than simply recycling the mobile game’s score.
120 tracks for a new crystal adventure
Square Enix lists Noriyasu Agematsu, Seima Kondo, Ryota Tomaru, Junpei Fujita, and Hitoshi Fujima among the composers behind the collection.
The scale fits what Square Enix is doing with Resonance as a whole. Rather than a direct port of Brave Exvius, the October release rebuilds the adventure as the first HD-2D Final Fantasy, adding new scenarios, exploration, turn-based battles, and the Visions system featuring familiar characters from across the series.
The soundtrack itself arrives on October 28, 2026, six days after the game’s October 22 launch. It will also be included with the Collector’s Edition goods and is planned to be sold separately.
For soundtrack collectors, 120 pieces is a sizeable package. For everyone else, the more interesting detail may be those 33 new tracks, which reinforce just how extensively Square Enix is expanding the original Brave Exvius material for its return as a full console and PC RPG.
