There were quite a few news to break last week, including new announcements, date revels, and bits of gameplay presentations. Let’s get right to it!
The first thing we’ve got on our hands are some juicy PlayStation announcements. Or rather: the promise and hope of juicy announcements coming during the PlayStation Showcase later this week. The rumors circulate that a certain ashen-faced PS exclusive is going to pop up, but we’ll have to wait and see.
On the topic of events and promises, the Tokyo game Show is beginning this month too, and there are quite a few high-profile presentations from big publishers, and a few notable developers are confirmed to make an appearance, so you will not want to miss it.
There are also a few game-specific news. The remaster of Dead Space got some new gruesome footage showcasing the revamped dismemberment system. Meanwhile the Kao the Kangaroo comeback game got a general, tentative release date.
A big announcement, and a win for the modding community, is that CD Projekt Red hired accomplished modders of their games. This also means better mod support coming to their games in the future.
