Last week brought in a bunch of movie- and show-related news, not least because of Netflix’s big event. There’s also a follow-up to last week’s news about the resolution of a certain suit, which, unsurprisingly, keeps disappointing everyone. Let’s take a look.

To start us off, we got a sneak peek at what HBO’s The Last of Us show, starring The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal, is going to look like. Meanwhile, Netflix dropped a few Witcher-related bombs, showed the intro for a live-action version of a beloved anime, and a full-scale animation based on League of Legends.

Nintendo, of all companies, also made an announcement, showing the core cast of the still apparently upcoming Mario movie. It’s QUITE a cast, featuring multiple very recognizable names. We also got a release date, set for 2022.

Meanwhile Apple and Epic keep feuding, out of court for now, because App Store is closed to Epic’s biggest game.

If you would like to learn more, we have a neat video talking about all these things in more detail.
